The City Language School Bildungsurlaub Programme is a 30-lesson General English language programme designed specifically to prepare learners to communicate effectively through English in the real World, using 21st century skills that are transferable and that will serve them well in an academic, professional, and social environment.

In the morning, you will join our General English language lessons with students from around the World.  The morning programme consists of 15 lessons per week from 09:00-12:15 Monday-Friday.

Every day there is a 45-minute lesson from 12:30 to 13:15 which focuses on developing the speaking skill through Irish Culture lessons.

In the afternoon, there are lessons that focus on Fluency Development on two afternoons per week these lessons are customised in response to learners’ needs and interests.  Tasks include visits to museums and cultural sites for project development and presentation preparation.

For students requiring 30 hours there will be additional project work, tasks, visits and tests to meet the requirement of their region.

Teachers make use of the latest innovative technology and educational apps to deliver dynamic and engaging lessons which challenge the learner to build skills that they will bring forward into their academic, professional, and social lives.
