Public Affairs
Our Public Affairs activities help stakeholders understand City College Dublin’s distinctive contribution to education and training in Ireland. We engage extensively with government, funding authorities, employer bodies, community organisations and industry leaders to build awareness of the College’s work. By combining evidence-led engagement with new partnership development, we are creating collaborations that drive measurable impacts for learners, for the economy and for the regions.
Procurement and Competitive Tendering
City College Dublin works with a host of public and private sector organisations and funding authorities through various contracting routes, including competitive procurement. We monitor relevant tender opportunities setting out our offering, quality approach, learner supports, delivery models and our extensive track record. This allows decision makers to assess CCD on a transparent and comparable basis, complementing our aim to deliver the highest quality, outcomes-focused education and training for employers and learners in Ireland.
Paul Healy
Paul is the former Chief Executive of Skillnet Ireland where he led the transformation of the national workforce development agency, placing it at the heart of Ireland’s enterprise and skills policy. He worked with government, industry and education leaders to shape system-level reform, securing a €100 million annual public-private investment in industry-led skills for Skillnet Ireland. Previously, Paul held executive leadership roles in HR and organisational development in the financial services sector.
At City College Dublin, Paul leads our public affairs and stakeholder engagement strategy, strengthening the external visibility of the college, and building partnership with stakeholders across government, employers and the wider education and training system.
