This manual sets out how we assure and enhance academic standards across the Group. It explains who makes decisions, how programmes are designed and reviewed, and the supports learners can expect throughout their studies.
The manual outlines clear governance and decision-making arrangements. It describes the roles of the Board of Directors, the Senior Management Team, the Advisory Board, the Academic Board, and the permanent sub-committees, each operating to defined terms of reference so responsibilities are transparent and consistent.
It then walks through the full programme lifecycle. From initial design and approval to delivery, ongoing monitoring, periodic review, modification, and, where necessary, closure, our processes align with the European Standards and Guidelines to ensure quality at every stage
Admissions and assessment are guided by principles and timelines that promote fairness and clarity. The manual sets out how applicants are considered, how assessment is planned and conducted, and how progression decisions are made so learners experience consistent and transparent processes.
Teaching and learning are student centred. The manual describes the learning environment, the resources that support effective teaching, and the learner supports available to help students succeed academically and personally.
Finally, the manual explains how we manage information and communicate with the public. It covers data protection and GDPR compliance, records management, and version control to ensure that information is accurate, current, and responsibly handled.
